Life is fun. It's really a joke. But if you're not laughing it's not much of a joke and there is no fun.

Like that army patient told Forrest Gump, "Keep your eye on the ball."

You can ask yourself at the end of every day: ·       What did I learn today? ·       How did I grow today?

What does it mean to grow? It means you put away childish things. This is another simple answer that gets complicated but needs to be kept simple.

A time to realign with yourself. Ever think about how long eternity is? It's a long, long, long time. As humans we've been on this planet for at least 10,000 years. It's gotten to be a habit. Some have come, enjoyed the ride and left; never to return physically.

Emotions are produced by the intellect. They are plastic feelings. We think we feel emotions. Facts are feelings. Feelings are facts. You could say facts are real and emotions are imagined. Even though we imagine our facts. It gets very confusing, but bear with me.

 When we have completed our learning here on planet earth this lifetime taking the inevitable stroll up the stairway to heaven is one staircase we will all eventually have to face.

I am free to walk off the edge of a cliff, but then I must accept the pull of gravity that makes me fall.   I am free to choose my direction. I can choose which flight I want to take. Then I must accept the customs and weather of where that plane will take me.

It is not uncommon for people to think about things so much that they overthink things and misunderstand the original purpose or intent, and miss an opportunity.

Energy has always fascinated me. It surrounds us, and we rely on it every single day in our modern world. How is it that energy is so powerful, yet we can’t see it? I wanted to understand more, because sometimes, we fear what we don’t understand.

It could be a funny thing to ask when you are nineteen years old, but after having had a child I was starting to question why I was here – on this planet.
